Dinsmore Adds Three Partners in Chicago Office

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP enhances its presence in Chicago by welcoming three exceptional partners to the firm. Grace Winkler Cranley, Jeffery Larry and Michael J. Weber join Dinsmore’s Chicago office, which has grown to 18 attorneys.

They strengthen our Litigation and Corporate service offerings by bringing decades of experience to the table,” said Robert “Bobby” Lucas, Chicago Office Managing Partner. “They also share the entrepreneurial spirit that has driven the growth of this office. I’m happy to welcome them to the firm.”

Grace Winkler Cranley joins Dinsmore from Leo &Weber, P.C., practicing out of the firm’s Litigation Department. She advises clients on general and commercial litigation, surety and fidelity bond and construction litigation. Cranley has represented clients in a variety of surety bonds and in fidelity matters dealing with commercial crime policies and other financial institution bonds. She earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and received her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Champaign- Urbana, Illinois.

Jeffery Larry brings more than 30 years of corporate law experience to Dinsmore. Larry previously was a Capital Partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman and an Associate at Mayer Brown and Jones Day. His corporate law practice focused on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, financings and corporate governance matters. Larry also previously served as the Vice Chairman of a technology commercialization firm, the Chairman and CEO of a private equity firm and the Chairman and CEO of three manufacturing firms. Larry earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in Economics.

Prior to joining Dinsmore’s Litigation Department, Michael J. Weber was the co-founder of Leo & Weber, P.C. Weber advises clients on fidelity and surety bond claims/litigation, cybercrime, complex litigation, commercial law, transactional matters, general business matters/litigation and construction law. He also has extensive experience with mediations, arbitrations and trials, representing clients in a nationwide practice in many states. Weber earned his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law, where he also received his B.S. in Finance.
