Matthew P. Gunn Elected Mid-South Chapter Chair of American Immigration Lawyers Association

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Matthew P. Gunn has been elected Chapter Chair for the Mid-South Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Gunn also holds the chapter’s seat on the AILA Board of Directors and continues to serve on AILA’s National Business Immigration Committee.

AILA is a national immigration bar association of 15,000 members committed to promoting justice, fair immigration laws and policies and enhancing the professional development of its members. The Mid-South chapter includes nearly 600 members across Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

“I am proud to continue to serve AILA both regionally and nationally in larger roles and look forward to helping lead our members through today’s challenging climate for immigration,” said Gunn.

Gunn is a member of Dinsmore’s Labor & Employment department where he concentrates his practice on business immigration law. He represents privately held and publicly traded client corporations in a variety of business immigration matters with particular emphasis on nonimmigrant visas for professionals. Throughout his career, Gunn has designed inclusive plans for his clients to enable seamless oversight of their immigration program through project management, process automation and 24/7 client and employee online access to case data.
