Michael D. Eagen Elected as Local President of the American Board of Trial Advocates

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Michael D. Eagen was sworn in as the President of the local American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Chapter. Eagen served as Vice President throughout 2016.

ABOTA is an invitation only, national association educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury. The members of ABOTA educate and improve the standards of practice. ABOTA requires its members to be responsible for elevating the standards of integrity, honor, ethics, civility and courtesy in the legal profession.

Eagen is an Of Counsel Attorney in Dinsmore’s the Litigation Department. Eagen has extensive litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, property damage, product liability, professional malpractice, insurance coverage, toxic torts, commercial law and mass torts. He has been primary trial counsel for trials in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania with more than 60 cases tried to verdict or judgment. He has served as a state and federal court appointed arbitrator and mediator.
