Adam Maynard is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Department. Adam is engaged in the representation of employers in such traditional labor law matters as collective bargaining, arbitrations, unfair labor practices, union campaigns, elections and decertification and strike litigation. He is also experienced in the defense of such employment matters as wrongful discharge, discrimination, employee duty of loyalty, covenants not to compete, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and other forms of employment-related litigation before state and federal courts and agencies. Outside of the litigation context, Adam is actively involved in the counseling of employers in litigation avoidance, preparing employment policies and handbooks (particularly with respect to electronic discovery issues and technology in the workplace), conducting day-to-day labor relations and all forms of alternative dispute resolution.
