Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has awarded Kathleen Carnes and Robert Stonestreet with its 2010 Alice Neeley Memorial Award.
The Alice Neeley Memorial Award was established to recognize outstanding associates who are dedicated to the practice of law, relate well to clients, have a positive attitude even in adverse situations, and make a genuine effort to personally know others in the firm. The Award has been given annually over the past seven years to the most outstanding associate as voted by their peers.
Carnes is finishing her ninth year as an associate in the Labor and Employment Department in the firm's Cincinnati, Ohio office. She specializes in advising employers regarding compliance with Title VII, the National Labor Relations Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and various other state and federal employment statutes and regulations. Carnes earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Louisville.
Stonestreet is finishing his seventh year as an associate in the Litigation Department and Environmental Practice Group in the firm's Charleston, West Virginia office. His environmental experience includes assisting clients in complying with environmental laws, multiple environmental due diligence reviews for major transactions, and litigation of various environmental issues in both the administrative and civil arenas. Stonestreet earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.A. from Marshall University.
