Our attorneys closely follow developments with the Americans with Disabilities Act (“the Act”). Our attorneys provide extensive counseling and training to help employers comply with the law. Specifically, the Firm assists clients in training supervisors for compliance with both the employment and facilities provisions of the Act. This includes providing training in the areas of obligations during the application process, job descriptions, reasonable accommodations and undue hardships. Additionally, the Firm assists clients in ensuring that their facilities are accessible to handicapped individuals and defends employers against disability discrimination claims in both federal and state courts.
