Brian J. Moore, an attorney in Dinsmore & Shohl's Charleston office, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Appalachian Reading Center, Inc. Moore will serve on the Board for a one-year term and his main responsibilities will include promoting the mission and vision of the Center, as well as evaluating the programs being offered.
Moore is a member of the Labor and Employment Department. He has extensive experience handling a wide array of labor and employment disputes, including discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, unemployment, unfair labor practice, and union representation cases. Moore earned his J.D. and B.A. from West Virginia University.

The Appalachian Reading Center, Inc. was founded in 2004 as a non-profit tutoring center specializing in working with students with learning disabilities. Since then, the Center has expanded to include instruction in handwriting, math and foreign language. Tutoring sessions are taught in individual or small group settings.
