Darren has extensive transactional experience in film and television, having served as entertainment counsel for Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc. and TeleNext Media, Inc. Prior to his legal career, Darren worked in the music industry as a writer, producer, and owner of a small record label. He has negotiated dozens of contracts with record companies, distributors, and promoters, and has handled logistics for North American and European performance tours. In addition, Darren has worked with numerous music publishers, record labels, musicians, advertisers, and filmmakers in the licensing of music in a variety of contexts and media, including film, television, internet, DVD, and audio-only sound recordings.
