With a thorough understanding of trademark and copyright law, Donna is adept at helping clients protect their intellectual property. She also leverages her business sense to counsel clients on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate compliance and governance matters.
Donna works with clients at every step to develop, protect and preserve a client’s brand, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks. Working with clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, energy, communications and banking, she becomes a trusted partner at each step of the process, from compliance searches to acquiring trademarks to navigating rebranding efforts all while utilizing a detail-oriented approach to mitigating her client’s risk. She also counsels clients on intellectual property licensing matters, blending her understanding of intellectual property law with her business acumen to provide a unique perspective.
Donna also works with clients on an array of corporate matters and has been involved in mergers, acquisitions, sales of businesses, and commercial lending transactions in a variety of industries, including energy, healthcare, banking, communications and media. She currently is steering a national health care provider through multiple mergers and acquisitions, negotiating, drafting and executing a variety of transaction agreements to expedite the process.
A member of the firm’s corporate and litigation practice groups, Donna has also served as a member of the Associate Evaluation Committee and the Recruiting Committee.
