20th Annual Labor & Employment Seminar
2010 marks not only two decades since passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, but Dinsmore & Shohl's 20th Annual Labor and Employment Law Seminar -- which provides employers with annual, in-depth updates and analysis of cutting edge labor and employment law topics. This year, we are pleased to invite you to join our team of nearly 60 attorneys practicing in labor and employment and our keynote speaker, EEOC Commissioner Constance Barker from Washington, D.C., for a detailed look at the EEOC, health care reform (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010), and case law, statutory and regulatory trends and developments certain to substantially impact all businesses.
At Dinsmore & Shohl, we know that attorneys, Human Resources professionals, managers and operators need more than representation in lawsuits. Critical to the success of any business is the continuous supply of updates and education about the ever-changing rules of workplace law. Our 20th Annual Labor & Employment Law Seminar agenda, which compliments our continuous employer education and training, will highlight the following topics:
1. Keynote Presentation by Constance Barker, EEOC Commissioner - Discussion, among other topics, of an overview of the EEOC function, the EEOC's enforcement agenda, national trends among EEOC charges and how the EEOC handles and analyzes discrimination charges.
