This seminar is designed for those who are just getting involved in Ohio's workers' compensation as well as those who have been handling claims for many years. The seminar program will identify and describe the developments in the law over the last two years since the last firm program, including:

  • BWC Update: Rates and Self-Insured Issues
  • Changes in the all-important abandonment defense
  • An update on Social Security
  • A review of some of the Bureau's activities in rating and in self-insurance

There will even be a short session on some of the labor issues which affect workers' compensation practitioners and a taste of Kentucky workers' compensation for those who are responsible for multiple jurisdictions.

The cost to attend is $25 and a portion of that fee will go to Kids' Chance of Ohio (an Ohio charity for children).
