Counsel City on Wastewater Tunnel and Related Facilities Construction

We represented our client, a city, on a project involving the construction of a wastewater tunnel and related facilities to provide relief to an existing interceptor sewer, working with the city to tailor the contract to incorporate the owner’s prior experience on wastewater projects. Dinsmore also proactively advised the owner as claims arose relating to construction defect issues, resolving them efficiently to keep the project moving forward. The total cost of the project is approximately $340 million and involves the construction of a tunnel more than 23,000 feet in length.
