Dinsmore's Products Liability Team recently received a ruling in favor of The Procter & Gamble Defendants ("P&G") which is the first in the country to assess and reject the scientific basis for lawsuits filed by a number of Fixodent® users.
Represented Halma International Limited in the acquisition of the Swiss corporation Medicel AG.  Immediately following this transaction, Medicel AG concluded the acquisition of Robutec GmbH.
Represented Valvoline in a lawsuit filed by a former employee alleging claims of violation of Minnesota’s statute regulating drug and alcohol testing by an employer (Lewis v. Ashland Inc. d/b/a Valvoline Instant OilChange, D. Minn., No. 09-3515, 8/9/11).
Represented three Ohio AIDS patients in a lawsuit against the director of the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to prevent enforcement of proposed rules that would arbitrarily deny funding for potentially life-saving medications to Ohio residents infected with HIV or suffering from AIDS-related symptoms
Represented Central West Virginia Energy (Central Energy) in a suit against Mountain State Carbon in federal court for breach of the coal supply contract. The matter related tort claims against certain parent companies for improper interference with Mountain State Carbon’s contractual obligations with damages claimed to exceed $30,000,000.
