Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Managing Partner and Chairman George H. Vincent will be honored by Leadership Cincinnati with its Distinguished Alumni Award. A member of Class 19, Vincent is being recognized for his outstanding contributions as a graduate of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s leadership program. Since its inception in 1977, 1833 participants have graduated Leadership Cincinnati.

“Leadership Cincinnati continues to be one of Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s premier programs, and I am deeply honored to receive this award,” said Vincent. “As a graduate, I can tell you it challenges the participants beyond professional development. Each class learns to harness their individual passions and talents to address a larger issue in the region. Every year, I continue to be impressed with the projects developed by Leadership Cincinnati.”

Vincent’s Class 19 along with Class 20 developed Crayons to Computers, a free store for teachers dedicated to providing kids with school supplies. Other memorable programs include the bike share service Red Bike and the Freestore Foodbank Power Packs that provide children with healthy food options over the weekends.

In addition to serving as Dinsmore’s Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board, Vincent’s practice focuses on M&A and corporate counseling. He represents both public and private companies, as well as the Cincinnati Reds. Vincent has received a number of recognitions for his work, including being named "Lawyer of the Year" in Cincinnati for Corporate Governance Law 2016 by The Best Lawyers in America.

Vincent is actively involved in the community, having served as chair of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority, Cincinnati Museum Center, Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Hamilton County Board of Elections, Hamilton County Tax Levy Review Committee, Hamilton County Republican Party and the Queen City Club and currently serves on the board of the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation, Artswave, The Center for Closing the Health Gap in Greater Cincinnati, Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Elizabeth Gamble Deaconess Home Association, The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Ohio Business Roundtable, the University of Michigan Political Science Advisory Board and the University of Michigan Law School Development and Alumni Relations Committee.
