Dinsmore & Shohl LLP recently won the prestigious 2009 Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award (E-Awards). Dinsmore & Shohl's International Business Practice was honored by Ohio Governor Ted Strickland at the E-Awards luncheon and award ceremony on August 26th in Columbus.
"Recognition of our success since WWII in international business, intellectual property, immigration, tax and technology is incredibly gratifying," said Harvey Jay Cohen, Chair of Dinsmore & Shohl's International Business Practice Group. "Our large team of lawyers daily serves large and small companies with their outbound needs worldwide and the inbound needs of over 100 foreign owned companies with interest through the U.S. Exporting legal services has been a key aspect of our growth over the last several decades."
The award is given annually by The Ohio Department of Development’s Global Markets Division. Companies are honored based on their extensive knowledge in global trade opportunities, regulations and logistics, as well as keys to successful strategies for foreign direct investment attraction.
