Hallie O’Brien is a member of the Intellectual Property Prosecution and Opinion Practice Group. Hallie is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has experience in the preparation and prosecution of patents in the United States and abroad. Hallie has a fundamental technical knowledge of biomolecules, mechanisms of enzyme action, metabolism, and expression and transmission of genetic information. She focuses her practice on patent drafting and prosecution in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical arts. She also has experience in drafting patent opinions, including freedom to operate, validity, and patentability opinions. Additionally, Hallie has research experience in molecular homology modeling related to the discovery and design of novel drug therapeutics.
