Jason S. Long

Biography

Jason worked with the firm’s Morgantown office before helping open the Lewisburg office, where he now serves as office managing partner.

His practice draws from his pre-lawyer days as an educator and growing up as the son of a county school superintendent. Jason advises county boards of education, providing a wide range of services, including guidance on personnel matters (both service and professional personnel), student and employee discipline matters, special education issues and various due process hearings (including those in personnel season). He conducts numerous in-service trainings and workshops to school systems and state educational organizations on a variety of legal topics and issues including student rights, FERPA, student discipline, employee discipline, sexual harassment, employee code of conduct, employee evaluations, service and professional personnel laws, and updates on the ever changing educational laws.
