Jin has experience in complex commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on False Claims Act litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, he gained litigation experience as a law clerk at the Monroe County Prosecutor’s office in Bloomington, IN. In that position, he represented the State of Indiana in several hearings on issues such as the suppression of evidence and motions to dismiss. Furthermore, Jin served as second chair in a multiple-felony jury trial in which he participated in voir dire, delivered the opening statement and conducted the direct examination of witnesses.
He also worked as judicial extern to Judge Jesus G. Bernal in the Central District of California. He drafted several orders remanding cases for lack of personal and subject-matter jurisdiction and wrote bench memoranda analyzing the merits of parties’ claims.
