J.J. Richardson is a member of the Product Liability Practice Group. J.J. is experienced in litigating business disputes, personal injury claims and product liability issues in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. His significant experience includes: obtaining a defense verdict on behalf of an insurance premium finance company alleged to have wrongfully canceled a commercial insurance policy; serving as second chair at trial representing a fishing lure manufacturer against claims of trademark infringement, theft of corporate opportunity, and unfair competition; arguing summary judgment motions in the U.S. District Court representing a manufacturer of steel mill equipment in a contract dispute. He presented "A Review of Legal Issues in the College/University Athletic Department" at the College Athletic Trainers Society Annual Meeting in 2003 and he presented "Sexual Harassment Issues in the College/University Athletics Department" at the Society's 2004 Annual Meeting. Additionally, J.J. has extensive experience handling warranty litigation on behalf of a diverse group of motor vehicle manufacturing and distributing clients.
