Joanne Schreiner, a partner in Dinsmore & Shohl's Cincinnati office, has been named a finalist in Cincy Magazine’s annual ATHENA® Awards. The award honors women who achieve success in their careers, give back to their communities, and actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.
Schreiner is an attorney in the Corporate Department and the Commercial Transactions/Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice involves commercial and business transactions, including acquisitions and mergers, contract negotiation, real estate financing, leasing, sales, and acquisitions. In addition, Schreiner supervises a thriving practice group responsible for closing a high volume of commercial transactions every year. In that capacity, she acts as a mentor to many of the firm's attorneys, providing training, marketing/development guidance, and assistance in meeting and managing client expectations.
Schreiner also has been active in the community. Among other activities, she has served on the Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (past President), Ronald McDonald House (Board member), and the Campbell County Citizens Foster Care Review (Board member). She earned her J.D. form the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A. from the University of Akron.
