Dinsmore's Lewisburg office, located in the historic Silas B. Mason home, was opened in 2011 to provide the firm with the opportunity to be situated closer to existing clients not only in the Greenbrier Valley area, but throughout Southern West Virginia. The firm's work with local and community banks, corporations, coal operations, estate administration, family wealth planning and school districts across the state drove the expansion. We represent clients in a number of areas including education, finance and creditor/debtor rights matters.
Named after former frontiersman Andrew Lewis, Lewisburg’s aura is born of a deep history and tradition. Officially established in 1782, it was the site of numerous Civil War battles, and a large section in the center of town has been registered as National Register Historic District. Maintaining a small-town feel, Lewisburg boasts an array of shopping and dining options, as well as numerous outdoor activities including hiking, canoeing and cross-country skiing. In 2011, Lewisburg was voted “America’s Coolest Small Town” by Budget Travel Magazine.
