Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Newman, a partner in the firm's Cincinnati office, has been appointed Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association's Federal Courts and Practice Committee.
Newman serves as Chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Appellate Practice Group. His practice focuses on the representation of public and private employers, both large and small, in all phases of labor and employment law, as well as trial and appellate litigation in the state and federal courts.
Newman currently serves on the Cincinnati Bar Association Board of Trustees, and is a Sixth Circuit Vice President for the Federal Bar Association. He has been selected for numerous awards including being listed in the The Best Lawyers in America® for Labor & Employment Law and Ohio Super Lawyers®.
