Mike Henry represents both large and small employers in all areas of employment law, including pre-litigation investigations, litigation, appeals, class actions, and agency investigations, including proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights. Mike has experience handling issues involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Kentucky Civil Rights Act, and other state and federal employment statutes and regulations. He advises clients from small entrepreneurs to large Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Mike participated in the defense of a large Fortune 500 company in a class action pattern and practice sex discrimination lawsuit brought by the EEOC.
Prior to joining the firm, Mike practiced civil litigation for four years at a mid-sized firm in Louisville, Kentucky where his practice focused on mass tort litigation and transportation law.
