Monika Hussell is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Monika's practice focuses on intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and technology. She assists clients in obtaining protection for, licensing of, and handling disputes regarding innovative ideas. She has been a member of the U.S. Patent Bar since 1993. Monika also assists with child adoption matters, including private, interstate and international adoptions.
In addition, Monika has extensive experience in advising clients through business transactions, including drafting documents and negotiating the acquisition and sale of businesses, the licensing of key technology, service agreements, joint ventures, government contracts, and other business transactions. Monika has represented companies in various industries including energy and alternative fuels, food, software, construction, utilities, and defense.
