Dinsmore & Shohl LLP received an award from the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Community Service Committee. The award recognized Dinsmore’s strong support of the CBA’s Holiday Giving Basket Program. It was presented by the YLS committee as part of its new Community Service Challenge.

Dinsmore received a Certificate of Achievement acknowledging the firm’s outstanding dedication and service to the community at large through the Holiday Giving Basket program. During the Holiday season, Dinsmore employees provide technical expertise for a wish-list website, and logistical support to gather and distribute gifts, allowing the local legal community to provide gifts to over 500 needy children. Ultimately, the gifts reach children through organizations including Boys and Girls Club, Boys and Girls Hope, The Hearne House, and Pro-Kids.

“Every year for almost 20 years, many of us have enjoyed serving needy kids during the Christmas and holiday season through the CBA’s Holiday Giving Basket. Each of us has participated to make sure the kids experience the joy and spirit of the season. It truly is an inspiring group effort within our firm, and in conjunction with donors from the city-wide legal community, that makes the program so successful,” said Richard Porotsky, Partner at Dinsmore and member of the CBA.
