Four Attorneys Join Dinsmore's Cincinnati Office

Dinsmore is pleased to announce that Michael Connelly, Katie Jacob, Allison Kropp, and Mary Newman have joined the firm’s Cincinnati office.

Michael Connelly joins the firm as an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Connelly has extensive experience advising clients concerning patentability and patent infringement matters. Prior to joining the firm, he served as In-House Legal Counsel and Materials Engineer for MHI-Inc. in Cincinnati. Connelly earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law and his Ph.D., M.S., B.S., and B.A. from the University of Cincinnati.

Katie Jacob joins Dinsmore as an associate in the Immigration Practice Group. Jacob represents businesses, universities, families and individuals in a wide variety of immigration matters. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the Cincinnati office of Hammond Law Group, LLC. Jacob earned her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law and her B.A. from DePaul University.

Allison Kropp joins the firm as Of Counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Nonprofit Organizations and Family Wealth Planning Practice Groups. Kropp’s practice includes advising tax-exempt organizations on a variety of issues, as well as estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate law. Earlier in her career, she practiced in the Cincinnati office of Frost Brown Todd, LLC. Kropp earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.S. from Georgetown University.

Mary Newman joins Dinsmore as an associate in the Corporate Department and member of the Securities Practice Group. Newman’s practice focuses on all areas of transactional law, including securities law and financial institutions. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Newman earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from Duke University.
