Lawrence A. Fathman Joins Dinsmore’s Dayton Office

Dinsmore & Shohl welcomes Lawrence A. Fathman to the firm’s Dayton office. Fathman will practice out of the Intellectual Property Department.

Fathman comes to Dinsmore from Hahn Loeser and Parks LLP, in Columbus Ohio, where he focused on researching and drafting memorandums as a Summer Associate.. He also previously interned for The Honorable William O. Bertelsman of the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Kentucky, where he focused on legal research and observed courtroom proceedings as well as chamber hearings.

Prior to attending law school, Fathman worked at EMCOR Group Incorporated in the Controls Department. In that role, he planned and produced electrical installation floor plans as well as maximized existing HVAC system efficiencies for industrial clients. Fathman also was a Co-Op at General Cable Corporation where he assisted design engineers in creating new cable products.

Fathman earned his J.D. from The University of Cincinnati College of Law where he was a founding member of the Intellectual Property and Computer Law Journal. Fathman received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Fathman also received his MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
