Mark Feuer Elected President of Boy Scouts Board

Mark Feuer, a partner in Dinsmore & Shohl's Dayton office, was recently elected President of the Executive Board of the Miami Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. As President of the Board, Feuer will oversee the Council which serves Darke, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties and oversee the delivery of the scouting program to more than 9,000 boys and girls with almost 3,000 adult volunteers.

Feuer is a member of the firm's Corporate Department. He concentrates his practice in the areas of tax, ERISA and employee benefits matters, and corporate and transactional tax planning. He also has represented clients in numerous tax-related controversies before the IRS and the courts and has negotiated many complex business transactions for the firm's clients. Feuer earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.A. from Yale University.

The Miami Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America provides service for boys (ages 7 to 20) in Darke, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties. The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
