Marty Dunn Honored as a Gentlemen of Style and Substance
Dinsmore & Shohl’s Marty Dunn received the Gentlemen of Style and Substance Award from Cincinnati Magazine and the Cincinnati Parks Foundation. He was one of 13 men who were honored for their professional accomplishments and their commitment to the community.
“I feel very fortunate to be at a position in my career where I can give back and feel it’s my duty to try to make Cincinnati a better place. I also try to mentor emerging leaders as they find their path, as I was helped along the way,” said Dunn.
Dunn is the Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Cincinnati Minority Counsel Program. He is the Presiding Co-Chair of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Dunn is active on the boards of the FreeStore FoodBank, the Metropolitan Club, the Cincinnati Museum Center and the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.
At Dinsmore, Dunn is a member of the Finance and Corporate Departments, practicing out of the Commercial Finance group. He has been listed on The Best Lawyers in America© for Corporate Law, selected for the Ohio Super Lawyers® List and named to the “Power 100” List of The Most Influential African-American Attorneys by On Being a Black Lawyer.
