Michelle Tupper Butler Completes LBA’s Leadership Academy

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Michelle Tupper Butler is a proud graduate of the Louisville Bar Association (LBA) Leadership Academy. Tupper Butler took part in the 2016 class.

The LBA’s Leadership Academy spans six months and focuses on developing leaders to make an impact in their profession and community. The goal is to empower attorneys to contribute to Louisville, embrace diversity and strive to practice the highest standards of the legal profession. Tupper Butler completed the LBA’s Leadership Academy in March 2016 and looks forward to using her leadership skills to help shape Louisville’s future.

Tupper Butler is an attorney in the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation in federal and state courts, especially on claims and investigations brought pursuant to the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Act. Tupper Butler has experience in all aspects of litigation, from preparing early pleadings, to managing large-scale discovery and depositions, to preparing experts, to trial and post-trial motions practice. She has contributed to several successful settlement negotiations favorable to her clients. Tupper Butler’s experience in the criminal context includes white collar matters, mental health issues, and juvenile defense.
