Prominent Trial Lawyer Jumps to Dinsmore’s Cincinnati Office

Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce that Eric Combs has joined Dinsmore as a partner in the Litigation Department and a member of the Sports & Entertainment Practice Group. He will practice in the firm's Cincinnati office.

Prior to joining the firm, Combs practiced in the Cincinnati office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He focuses his practice on the representation of companies and individuals in federal and state court and other dispute resolution venues, and has tried numerous cases to successful verdict before juries and judges. Combs also has unique experience in the area of sports law. He has represented sports franchises, facility management and facility owner clients in all aspects of the sports business, and is an adjunct professor of Sports Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Combs has an AV-rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been selected for numerous awards, including being listed in the The Best Lawyers in America® and selected as a Business Courier Forty Under 40 winner. Combs is also active in the community. He is President of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Foundation Board, and also serves on the Boards of Trustees of the Cincinnati Bar Association, the May Festival, ArtsWave, the Cincinnati Bar Foundation and Montessori Center Room. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. from Miami University.
