Helana Darrow, Katrina Atkins, Carrie Fischesser, and Sarah Sparks were recently selected as Rising Stars by the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati's Academy of Career Women of Achievement. The award is given to young professional women (ages 25-40) and is designed to provide unique networking, mentoring, and educational opportunities. Only members of the YWCA Board and Academy are eligible to nominate women as Rising Stars.
Helana Darrow is a partner in the Corporate Department and Chair of the firm's Professional Women's Group and Mentoring Program. She has extensive experience in all areas of executive compensation and employee benefits. Darrow earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.A. from Morehead State University.
Katrina Atkins is a member of the firm's Product Liability Practice Group. Atkins focuses her practice on product liability, health insurance litigation, and trust litigation. She earned her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law and her B.S.W. from the University of Cincinnati.
Carrie Fischesser is a member of the firm's Labor & Employment Law Department and Recruiting Committee. Her practice covers all aspects of labor and employment litigation. Fischesser earned her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law, her M.B.A. from Indiana University, and her B.S. from Northern Kentucky University.
Sarah Sparks is a member of the firm's Corporate Department. She focuses her practice on all aspects of real estate law, including zoning and development. Sparks earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.A. from Xavier University.
