Susan Solle is a member of the Insurance and Liability Litigation Practice Group and concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance, business and employment litigation and appellate advocacy.  Susan represents businesses in complex litigation, such as contract, trade secret and non-competition issues, as well as defending employers in defense of various employment claims, including discrimination, unemployment and workers' compensation claims.  She also represents insurance companies defending first and third party litigation, bad faith and agent misconduct.  Prior to joining Dinsmore & Shohl, she served as judicial staff attorney for the Honorable James A. Brogan of the Ohio Court of Appeals for the Second Appellate District, and spent two years in insurance defense private practice.  Susan spent nine years working in an insurance claims department prior to attending law school.

In addition to her practice, Susan has been an adjunct professor at the University of Dayton School of Law teaching Appellate Advocacy for seven years.  She is also appointed as an Acting Judge in Montgomery County Municipal Court.
