Anthony L. Pisano Named to Emerging Leaders Board of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Anthony L. Pisano has been named to the Emerging Leaders Board of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association (PVCA).
The Emerging Leaders Board was created four years ago in an effort to engage young professionals to present new ideas and initiatives to the PVCA board. The PVCA’s mission is to catalyze venture investment and entrepreneurialism in Western Pennsylvania.
A member of Dinsmore’s Intellectual Property Department, Pisano has extensive experience working with clients to protect their brands, innovations and ideas. He focuses his practice on patent and trademark prosecution, and also assists clients with intellectual property-related transactions.
The technical background of his patent practice is wide ranging and includes computer hardware, software, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and biotechnology. An experienced computer and software programmer, he also has particular experience with smartphone apps, having used his knowledge to author several apps that have been available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Pisano previously served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 corporation, providing him with the unique ability to approach intellectual property issues from both a legal and a business perspective in order to protect his clients’ interests.
