Ayana has experience assisting with technical analyses of intricate regulations and industry governing activities, preparing legal and analytical fact summaries used in commission reports and disciplinary actions, and reviewing various legal documents. Her experience also includes working as a policy fellow in the office of Congressman James Clyburn, majority whip, where she analyzed legislation and bill proposals, drafted talking points, and met with private industry executives concerning policy positions.
She received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where she participated in the university’s Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property clinic as a student attorney providing legal assistance to clients, including forming business entities and assisting with tax structure, drafting documents governing organizational operations, and drafting contracts.
