Brittany focuses her practice on real estate law, concentrating on acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and financing of commercial property. A licensed real estate broker in Indiana, she has experience assisting clients in all phases of real estate transactions, including the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements; reviewing title commitments, surveys, and other due diligence documents; preparing deeds; negotiating leases; drafting organizational documents for real estate holding companies; drafting easements and master declarations; and closing the transaction. She also assists clients in obtaining zoning, land use, and other entitlements necessary for the development and construction of significant projects, including planned unit developments.
She earned her J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she participated in the Non-Profit Legal Clinic, guiding clients through obtaining 501(c)(3) status, drafting organizational documents and bylaws, reviewing insurance requirements for non-profit board members, and performing legal research. She also volunteered with the Tenant Assistance Project, where she represented tenants facing the immediate threat of eviction.
