Bryan C. Wisecup Joins Dinsmore’s Cincinnati Office

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP welcomes Bryan C. Wisecup to the firm’s Cincinnati office. Wisecup will practice out of the Intellectual Property Department.

Wisecup comes to Dinsmore from Thompson Hine, LLP, where he prepared provisional and non-provisional patent applications directed to chemical and mechanical inventions and prepared patentability and freedom-to-operate studies. He also moderated a discussion panel on IP protection at the 2015 GlobalChem conference.

Prior to law school, Wisecup was a Chemical Engineer in the specialty chemical, printing ink and paper industries. He led continuous improvement teams to develop process improvements, provided process and technical expertise for the design, construction and start-up of an automated printing ink manufacturing plant, and managed wastewater and hazardous waste compliance programs for a specialty chemical processing facility.

Wisecup earned his J.D. from The University of Cincinnati College of Law and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
