Dinsmore Attorneys Raise $250,000 to Fund Law School Upgrade

October 10, 2012News Releases
The attorneys at Dinsmore have always been committed to giving back to their community, through both their actions and through generous donations. In spring of 2012, Dinsmore began a campaign to raise $200,000 for the new building efforts at the University of Cincinnati College of Law (UC). Thanks to the generosity of more than 50 individual donors, many of them alumni, the firm managed to reach their goal. To top it off, the firm also contributed a $50,000 gift, bringing the firm’s total to $250,000. As a result, a classroom will be named after the firm in the new building.

The successful fundraising initiative was led by partners Debbie Lydon (’81), Charles Roesch (’84), Susan Zaunbrecher (’90), George Vincent and Mark Vander Laan.

“Although many of us graduated from UC and are personally invested in its long term success, we all believe that it is important to support our local law schools,” said Zaunbrecher, Chair of Dinsmore’s Corporate Department. “New top tier law school facilities will assist UC in continuing to attract the best talent to Cincinnati, which will provide many benefits to our legal community, as well as our community as a whole.”
