Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has expanded its Pittsburgh office, welcoming attorney Robert Palumbi to the firm. Palumbi joins as a partner of counsel in Dinsmore’s litigation department, bringing a strong background in construction law.

Palumbi’s practice focuses on a wide variety of commercial and construction-related disputes, including products liability claims, construction defects, breach of contract actions and municipal law, as well as litigation involving energy and natural resources. He has experience in cases involving the Pennsylvania Mechanics’ Lien Law, the Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act, the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act, and the Pennsylvania Municipal Torts Claim Act.

“Bobby has a well-rounded litigation practice and extensive experience with jury trials and arbitrations as lead counsel,” said Anthony Ditka, Pittsburgh office managing partner. “His emphasis on representing contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers will be a great asset in Pittsburgh, where new construction has no end in sight.”

The addition of Palumbi brings Dinsmore’s headcount to 55 attorneys and staff in Pittsburgh. Earlier this year, the firm relocated its office to PPG Place Building Six to accommodate its continued growth.

Palumbi earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. He received a B.S. in political science from St. Joseph’s University.
