Everett N. Jones, III


Everett focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and his experience includes drafting complaints, answers, and motions; preparing discovery in civil litigation, copyright, and trademark matters; and arguing before various courts. Everett has successfully resolved cases in favor of clients including obtaining summary judgment and resolving copyright and trademark disputes.

Before studying law, Everett was a college professor and a professional musician. He performed as soloist with orchestras, presented at national conferences, he received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to direct a festival, and he earned awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. He has intimate knowledge of the arts, arts organizations, and related potential issues. Music administrative duties, including writing contracts and negotiating business matters, led him to the practice of law.
