Glen Bagby Appointed Regent of ACTEC

Glen Bagby, a partner in Dinsmore & Shohl's Lexington office, has been appointed Regent of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). His primary responsibilities include working with fellow members to improve and reform probate, trust, and tax laws and procedures. The Board of Regents is ACTEC’s governing body and has approximately 40 members.

Bagby is a member of the firm's Litigation Department. He has extensive experience in litigation, trusts and estates, family and business law. Bagby earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his A.B. from Transylvania University.

Established in 1949, ACTEC is a nonprofit association of lawyers. Candidates are evaluated based upon their professional reputation, experience and abilities in the areas of trusts and estates, and their substantial contributions to the profession through lectures, writings, teaching, and bar activities.
