Jisun conducts a practice focused on intellectual property law with a background in mechanical engineering. Her experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications, performing freedom to operate analyses, and managing patent portfolios. She worked previously for a leading Japanese printer and document solutions company as a patent engineer, where she worked with inventors to protect a wide range of printing technologies.

She received her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law and has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering. In her master’s program she focused on machining process planning and participated in Formula SAE Japan Competitions building racecars.
