Maria C. Montero

Biography

Maria is a corporate attorney with experience consulting clients on design, administrative, and operational issues for health and welfare plans and qualified retirement plans. She reviews and revises plan documents, notices, and enrollment materials, and conducts compliance reviews for clients to identify areas of non-compliance and provides solutions to resolve identified errors. Maria also assists clients navigating the ever-changing landscape of COVID-19 legislation and regulations through rapid interpretation and effective implementation measures.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Maria was an associate attorney in the ERISA/Employee Benefits practice group of a boutique law firm in Chicago. She previously worked as a legal consultant for a leading global professional services firm in the health and welfare benefits industry.
