Nelson focuses his practice on commercial finance, representing lenders (both senior and mezzanine) and borrowers in various financing transactions. He has experience with syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, senior and subordinated credit facilities, asset based credit facilities, acquisition financing, real estate and construction financing, loan restructurings, workouts and other complex financing transactions. His work covers a variety of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, financial services, health care, real estate, construction, aviation, maritime and agriculture. Nelson also counsels franchisees and franchisers in food and beverage and service industries on issues, such as entity formation, negotiating franchise agreements and development agreements, and regulatory compliance.
