“The coronavirus may or may not actually give you a contractual basis for delay,” warns Lambert. “It depends on the wording of your contract and the other facts surrounding the project. You should talk to an attorney who can provide insight on if there are contractual requirement that need to be met for you to stop a job or slow it down."
