David J. Martin Joins Dinsmore’s Columbus Office

Dinsmore & Shohl welcomes David J. Martin to the firm’s Columbus office. He will practice out of the Intellectual Property Department.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Martin practiced as a litigation associate with Baker & Hostetler, LLP where he worked on a variety of litigation matters in connection with Baker Hostetler’s role as counsel to the court-appointed Trustee under the Securities Investor Protection Act in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, LLC. He was a member of the team that sought recovery of billions of dollars in that case. Martin also has experience in SIPC insurance claims assessment, regulatory advocacy, and electronic discovery in complex securities litigation.

Martin earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and received his B.A. from Miami University.
