Denise Pentino Joins the Wheeling Chamber of Commerce Board

Dinsmore & Shohl’s Denise Pentino joins the Wheeling Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Her 3 year term started January 1.

The Wheeling Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to improve business development for its members through networking, leadership programs, sponsorships and events. Chamber Director Terry Sterling recommended Pentino for the Board, and the Executive Committee approved the nomination.

“I have personally known Denise for over 15 years. She is very active in our local community with many organizations such as Wheeling Health Right and Oglebay Institute. She will be a great asset to our Board,” Sterling said.

Pentino has been serving as legal counsel for the Wheeling Chamber of Commerce for 7 years and is excited for the new role.

“I am very honored to join the Board of Directors and look forward to representing the business community. The Chamber’s goals match my personal ones to continue to develop opportunities to help our businesses succeed,” said Pentino.

Pentino is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Wheeling office. Her experience with complex litigation in both state and federal courts includes the management, discovery, resolution and/or trial of class actions, multi-party suits and mass tort claims. Drawing on her deep reservoir of knowledge surrounding workplace safety regulations, workers’ compensation law and industry operations, Pentino helps clients plan and strategically implement policies to limit their exposure. She also has extensive experience representing insurance companies in bad faith litigation, both in Ohio and West Virginia in state and federal courts.
