Dinsmore’s Lexington office was recently recognized for their commitment to community and charitable initiatives at the seventh annual Republic Bank & Trust Company’s “We CARE” Awards. Dinsmore was one of seven companies selected for the award which was created to publicly recognize local companies who stress the four elements contained in the CARE name itself - Community, Activity, Recognition and Enterprise.

Dinsmore personnel participate actively in numerous voluntary and philanthropic activities that benefit the surrounding Central Kentucky communities including: LexArts, God’s Pantry, Hope Center, Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky and United Way, among many others. In 2006, Republic Bank launched the first “We CARE” Awards as a way to give recognition and appreciation to local companies whose employees do great things for the community. Twenty eight nominations were accepted from companies who met the “We CARE” criteria, and were judged on how they encourage employees to become involved in volunteer activities, either during or after work hours. They were also evaluated on how they support community-based initiatives through philanthropic efforts and neighborhood assistance. Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges consisting of previous winners and community leaders.
