Three Dinsmore & Shohl attorneys have contributed to the latest edition of the Kentucky Real Estate Law and Practice handbook.

Kevin M. Detroy, Joseph A. Newberg II and Haley Trogdlen McCauley made substantial revisions to Chapter 11 “Casualty and Property Insurance” for the fourth edition of the handbook. Chapter 11 is a practical look into casualty and property insurance in Kentucky, which are the two most applicable types in regards to real estate.

The Kentucky Real Estate Law and Practice is a three volume set designed to cover commercial and residential real estate law that practitioners in the Commonwealth may encounter. The handbook is published by the University of Kentucky College of Law’s Office of Continuing Legal Education in partnership with the Kentucky Bar Association. The fourth edition was published in July 2013.

Dinsmore’s Real Estate Practice Group Chair Richard B. Tranter assisted Detroy, Newberg and McCauley with the chapter. Detroy and Newberg are members of the firm’s Corporate Department. McCauley practices in Dinsmore’s Litigation Department.
