Dinsmore & Shohl’s Charleston Office Faces Off in the Shohl Bowl, Benefiting the Ronald McDonald House

November 18, 2013News Releases
Dinsmore & Shohl’s Charleston Office will face off in the Shohl Bowl, and this flag football game determines more than just office bragging rights. It also raises funds for the Ronald McDonald House’s “Share a Night” campaign.

Everyone participating will be split into two teams- blue and white. Each team will raise money leading up to the November 24 game. For every $20 donated, the “Share a Night” Campaign provides one free night at the Ronald McDonald House for families of children receiving medical treatment. Dinsmore’s Charleston office hopes to provide a minimum 150 free nights for those families.

“We look at this as a great opportunity to have fun outside of the office and engage in some friendly competition. Partnering with the Ronald McDonald House to raise money for the “Share a Night” campaign makes it all the more enjoyable of an event,” said John Hussell, Charleston Office Managing Partner.

Hussell will present a check to the Executive Director of the Charleston Ronald McDonald house before the game. The team that donates the most nights will get bragging rights and a prize. There will also be a barbecue for all participants. BB&T Wealth Management sponsored the Shohl Bowl with a $1,000 donation.

The Shohl Bowl will be held on November 24 at 2 p.m. at Coonskin Park Soccer Stadium.
